As a nonprofit organization, CB Cares depends on several different funding sources. We are most appreciative of the generosity of individuals and business sponsors within our local community who have supported our work through the years. Additionally, we are fortunate to be part of a Pennsylvania state program, The Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC), which is truly a win-win for both CB Cares and our local business partners. A tax credit is available to any business that pays PA Corporate taxes. For more information about EITC visit www.newpa.org, or contact CB Cares’ offices. We have been the recipient of grants from the local, state, and federal levels. For the first time this year, we benefited from an elective $1.00 payroll deduction program through the Doylestown Hospital and the Central Bucks School Disctrict. Beginning this year, as well, we held two major fundraising events, the fall Masquerade at the Mercer Museum and in the spring, The Celebrity Chef and Waiter Gala. If you would like to help CB Cares in our fundraising efforts, either as an individual or business volunteer or sponsor, contact Kimberly Cambra, Executive Director, at 215-489-9120.
