On Thursday, September 26, the Parent Positive speaker series will kick off for this school year. Expert speaker and Director of the Center for the Study of Boys’ and Girls’ Lives Michael C. Reichert, Ph.D., will discuss the power of relationships, sharing scientific information around child development and why developmental relationships matter.

Drawing from the developmental relationships in their lives, Reichert offers step-by-step guidance and will share his insight from psychology and neuroscience, drawing from his decades of research. The event will include discussions around the changing the culture, and how parents, educators, and mentors help children develop socially and emotionally. Reichert is a national speaker and applied and research psychologist who has long been an advocate for children and families. He is currently on staff at the Haverford School and author How to Raise a Boy: The Power of Connection to Build Good Men, among other publications.
