Neshaminy Manor/Warrington
Fun & Games with Seniors
10:15 am - 1:15 pm
Volunteer to have fun and games with Neshaminy Manor's seniors.  Intergenerational fun is to be had by all by making it a day ON.

2:15 - 3:15 pm
Join in the fun to participate and play bingo with the seniors of Neshaminy Manor.

Volunteers can partner with a senior resident while making new friends and memories for MLK Day.

Doylestown Presbyterian Church/Doylestown
Prepare meals for the organization Caring For Friends (formerly Aid For Friends).  Under supervision from CFF members, Adults and older children pack trays to be frozen then later delivered to our community's homebound elderly and disabled.  Each family is required to bring a casserole or main dish as well as cooked or frozen vegetables.  We provide the equipment as well as other food sides. 

We open the doors to St. Andrews Hall at 10 am. The entrance is located on Church Street near the corner of Mechanic Street.  We welcome all from our community but space is limited. Children must be over 10 years old and accompanied by a supervising adult.

Second Baptist Church of Doylestown/Fountainville
Join us for the 2020 MLK Day of Service at Second Baptist Church of Doylestown. Please pre-register for a specific service activity at, and we will direct you to the service activity when you arrive on January 20. Service activities will begin at 10:00 am after the Opening Ceremony at the Second Baptist Church of Doylestown. All are welcome!

This event is led by the Bucks County Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, and done in partnership with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., CB Cares, The Bucks County Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., Second Baptist Church of Doylestown, Suez, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc., Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. and Community Volunteers.

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church/Doylestown
Help assemble Breakfast Bags and create inspiring greeting cards for our elderly and frail neighbors. A wonderful intergenerational service project, ideal for students in 1st - 5th grades! Please arrive with donations of packaged breakfast items (e.g., instant oatmeal, granola bars, juice boxes, single-serving cereal boxes, and single-serving coffee packs).

Your nimble fingers can help provide warmth for a homebound person this winter. Join with others as we sew together knitted squares to be assembled into lap robes. A good activity for families; best for children 3rd grade and older. Yarn is provided, but bring your own needles or crochet hooks if you wish. Space is limited so register early. Temple Judea/Doylestown
The morning will provide all ages the opportunity to participate in a variety of service projects. Dinners will be assembled for Aid for Friends and volunteers are asked to bring either a prepared side dish or entrée for the project. Granola bars, oatmeal packets, juice boxes/bags, tea bags and coffee will be greatly appreciated and put to good use. This site and project is perfect for all ages. Our Lady of Mt. Carmel/Doylestown
Join OLMC school and make birthday bags for the children in St Christopher's hospital and help in a project for underprivileged school children. Several other projects are scheduled in making care packages to be sent to community organizations.

Family of God Lutheran Church/Buckingham
Join us at our 2nd annual MLK Jr. Kids Day of Service for a morning full of service related projects and a collaborative craft. Some of the projects include fleece tied blankets and school kits for Lutheran World Relief, along with projects for Veterans and Seniors. The event will be 9:30 am to noon, followed by a free pizza lunch for families and volunteers. Registration required at Please bring a non-perishable item to donate to the Doylestown Food Pantry.
